Facestock

A direct thermal paper material with adhesive on the back and a release coating on the surface.

  • Basis Weight: 75 ± 10% g/m² (ISO 536)
  • Caliper: 0.076 ± 10% mm (ISO 534)

Adhesive

A general-purpose permanent rubber-based adhesive.

Typical Performance Data (N/25mm):

  • Loop Tack (st, st) - FTM 9: 10.0 or Tear
  • 20 min 180° Peel (st, st) - FTM 1: 12.0 or Tear
  • Minimum Application Temperature: 5°C
  • Service Temperature Range: -10°C to 60°C

Adhesive Performance

The adhesive offers excellent initial tack and ultimate bond on a wide variety of substrates. Suitable for flat or simple curved substrates. Not recommended for PVC substrates.

Applications and Use

Designed for use in thermal printing systems at low to medium print speeds. Provides good resistance to moisture, grease, and oil. Suitable for supermarket and industrial labels, with excellent thermal printability and tack for retail weighing and the food industry.

Features

Thermally printed linerless labels are a flexible alternative that can be cut to any length, eliminating the need to maintain an inventory of labels of different sizes. They minimize material costs, save storage and shipping space, and significantly reduce label logistics costs. Labels offer a 30% - 40% increase in stock length per roll, reducing downtime for roll changes.

Important Notes

  • Exposure to direct sunlight or strong fluorescent lighting can invalidate the printed image.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to temperatures of 50°C or more.

Shelf Life

One year when stored at 23 ± 2°C and 50 ± 5% relative humidity (RH).
